Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid gathered religious, cultural and social voices to mark cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, hosted by Fundación Mejora at the national Scientology headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers offered reflections from faith, culture and public service on how open dialogue can reduce prejudice.

Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
